MERALCO INTRODUCES ‘MOVE’ APP SUITE

Meralco recently launched the MeralcO Virtual Engine (MOVE) … it’s a free and down loadable app that is useful for electric consumers like you and me in availing the different services that Meralco is offering to its customers. The Meralco Virtual Engine App  has six (6)  free app that is available 24 hours that anyone can access and use using your smart phones, tablets, PC, laptop, etc. Since we Filipinos, spend much of our time chatting, browsing on the internet; that is where Meralco wants to offer and extend their assistance right were at, and for this reason, the Meralco Virtual Engine App was launched. 

The MOVE apps provide Meralco customers with different benefits to bring ease and convenience in managing their electricity concerns:

1. Apps that offer location help= By using this app, you can actually find the nearest Meralco office or Bayad Center where you can pay your electric bills with no sweat at all.

a. Meralco Office Directory –You can find the nearest Meralco office in your area.

b. Bayad Center – Find out where you can conveniently pay your Meralco bill.

2. Apps for consumption control=This app is for consumers who wants to save on their electricity bills, it shows the consumers a lot of ways to conserve energy; like what kind of lightbulb should you use, what are the proper ways to use your air-con, refrigerator and other appliances you have in your house that will enable you to lessen your electric consumption in.

a. Meralco Appliance Calculator- Easily compute the amount of electricity an appliance consumes.

b. Bright Ideas – Learn better ways to use and save on electricity.

3. Apps that help in planning ahead=It’s an app where you can know ahead of time if there will be brown out in your area. Knowing it in advance, will give you ample time to prepare the things you will be needing when that incident comes. Through this app, you can also see your bill online in case you lost your bill that is being sent to you manually.

a. Power Maintenance Schedule- Stay up-to-date on the power maintenance schedule in your area.

b. E-Meralco bill –View your latest bill even when you’re on the go.

With this new app from Meralco, consumers like us will learn a lot of ways in using our appliances properly, will keep us up -to-date about power maintenance schedule in advance, view our bill online, etc. through this, we will have an easier and convenient way of availing and transacting with Meralco’s services … making our lives more comfortable.
