LAUNCHING OF THE LOLONG REPLICA AND THE MARSHLAND EXHIBIT

Nido Fortified Science Discovery Center together with its key partners; Nestle, Department of National Resources and Department of Science and Technology has joined together in promoting public awareness and spreading the importance of conserving marshland as a habitat of different species of animals including a crocodile that you can see in the picture.

And for this reason, the Marshland and the Crocodile exhibit was recently launched… it’s the newest, and by far, the biggest and the most fascinating attraction that you can see in the Science Discovery Center. This is where you can find the replica of the biggest crocodile in the world… popularly known as “Lolong”. It’s a native born crocodile caught in the province of Palawan measuring     and because of its great size it became known the world over... that it has also become a major tourist attraction that generates and contributes a big revenue in the province of Palawan. And aside from that, it has put and marked our country in the map of the world.

In preparation for the re-launch of the Nido Fortified Science Discovery Center this September, the center is undergoing an extensive renovation procedure and massive improvement structural processes. And when it’s finally done, visitors like you and me will be enjoying and will learn a wide range of topics from matter, gravity, chemistry, robotics, astronomy and a lot more. With this ongoing progress, surely, kids and adults, especially the children from different schools who will be touring the center premises will be able to enjoy and appreciate the things that they will see and learn from the center.  

As a preview to its upcoming re-launch, Nido Fortified Science Discovery Center recently held an event that showcases of what are to be seen in the actual center when it opens late this year. At the said preview, we have seen a variety of machine-friendly games for kids like the giant gear, a hammer-hitting game and a lot more. Aside from those giant machine games, they also had a quiz bee contest where the boy scout participated and took part of.

And in this way, Nido Fortified Science Discovery Center is fulfilling its commitment in bringing wholesome entertainment and education for everyone to enjoy.
