MARIO MAUER & ERICH GONZALES IN THE MOVIE "SUDDENLY ITS MAGIC"

Watch out for the newest movie in town entitled “Suddenly Its Magic” starring Mario Mauer, Erich Gonzales, Joross Gamboa, Ces Quesada, Jestoni Alarcon, Joy Viado, Dinky Doo, Guji Lorenzana and its under the direction of the veteran director ... Rory Quintos. This movie will surely tickle and make the viewers smile from the inside and out. 

This is the first time Erich Gonzales will be pairing up with the Thai actor/model Mario Mauer, and Star Cinema is proud to have them together in one movie. As one of the main cast in this movie, Erich Gonzales will surely display her versatility as an actress as she has done in the past movies she has been with … whether it be a drama, action, comedy and even horror. 

And as for those who do not know much about Mario Mauer … He is a Thailander actor/model and also a singer who is not new to many Filipinos … for he has done a lot of shows, commercials and print ads in our country particularly for Penshoppe, since, he is one of their brand ambassadors with a big picture that we can see in billboards along the highway. 

 Mario Mauer and Erich Gonzales team-up is something that both moviegoers and fans waited and accepted with much longing because their chemistry blends very well, not to mention Erich beauty not just in her physical appearance, but also of her character that made her co-workers in the movie industry … to like her that much and Mario’s cuteness of face that draws a lot of fans whenever he has shows in and out of Manila. 

There are a lot of surprises that you can see in this movie that I will not divulge so that the element of surprise in watching this movie will still be present. So just wait as it opens on October 31 in theaters nationwide. 

WATCH OUT FOR THE NEW PBA TEAM "SAN MIG COFFEE MIX"

Expect a fiercer, livelier and more exciting PBA games as new and veteran players teamed up for the newly named team … San Mig Coffee Mixers formerly the B-Meg Llamados which just recently presented to the media at One Esplanade in Pasay City.

Headed by their coach Tim Cone, the members of the team literally run their way on the stage as their names are being called one by one ... as their supporters and friends cheered for them.

San Miguel Pure Foods Company President Francisco S. Alejo III announced the change in team name to members of the press and fans yesterday, in lively launch at the 1Esplanade in Pasay City. He also issued his marching orders for the team.

This is one way for the San Mig Coffee officers will be able to reach their target consumers and make the brand known since they know that many Filipinos love the sports of basketball. And as they want to be the number one team in the PBA league, they also want to make San Mig Coffee to be the number one coffee brand in our country.

Part of the team include Marc Pingris, Peter Jun Simon, James Yap, Jonas Villanueva, Rafi Reavis, JC Intal, Mark Barroca, Chris Pacana, Ken Bono, Joe De Vance, Mike Burtscher, Wesley Gonzales and Yancy de Ocampo. Playing in their first season are rookies Jewel Ponferrada, Gian Chu and Aldrech Ramos.

Assisting Cone at the bench are Richard del Rosario, Koy Banal, Johnny Abarrientos, Jeffrey Cariaso and Mon Jose. Four-time MVP Alvin Patrimonio serves as team manager.

The team franchise won the championships in the 1990 Third Conference, 1991 All-Filipino, 1993 All-Filipino, 1994 Commissioner's Cup, 1997 All-Filipino, 2002 Governors Cup, 2006 Philippine Cup, 2009-2010 Philippine Cup and just recently the “2012 Commissioner's Cup”.

With their vision to continue their winning tradition, San Miguel Coffee Mix has acquired top rookie players of the league aside from the stalwart players who are already in their roster. With this, San Miguel Coffee Mix team will surely battle it out on the court in the PBA as it opens on September 30 for its 38^th season.

Too Much Information—Is There Such a Thing Online?

Almost everyone has an account to at least one of social networking sites.  A recent Pew Research study revealed that an average user has 229 Facebook friends and 229 followers on Pinterest; and 89% of employers use LinkedIn for recruiting employees. 

“People share too much information on social media sites—birthdays, schools, hometowns, and  51% even add a family list to their profiles,” according to Myla Pilao, Director for Core Technologies at Trend Micro. “These information can already be used to answer security questions in credit card accounts, for example,” Pilao said.

“Cyber criminals may use your profile data for social engineering schemes and identity theft. Social media users must be cautious when posting personal information online,” adds Pilao.

STAR MAGIC TAKES PRIDE IN HAVING FRANCIS MANGUNDAYAO AS ONE OF ITS TALENTS

After gaining much popularity in portraying the role as the young Piolo Pascual in the drama series “Dahil Sa Pag-Ibig” child actor, Francis Mangundayao is now back on screen as the leading man of Ella Cruz in the TV series “Aryana”. This is somehow a revival of their former team-up as the young Piolo Pascual and young Christine Reyes in the said TV series where the viewers accepted it well… attesting to that, is that it has been a widely-talked about topic in different social media site such as Twitter and Facebook.

Francis Mangundayao is a gem that the talent center of ABS-CBN treasures a lot. As a proof to that, the talent center waited that long for his contract to end in the other station … to make him sign for a new contract with them. 

Francis Mangundayao still has a lot of things to do in life at a very young age of 14 who already made a lot of projects since the age of five (5) where he made quite a number of commercials. And during his solo press conference, he mentioned that “I want to follow the likes of Angel Aquino, John Lloyd Cruz and Coco Martin who acts naturally on the set which I like to imitate.”

Francis Mangundayao is currently under a home-schooling program at grade 7… this down-to-earth and talented young boy has really got a long way to go in the showbiz industry.
