Among the rarest astronomical phenomena that happens
every 243 years in the universe is the Transit of Venus…this is when the planet
Venus passes through between the Sun and the Earth. And when this happens, the
planet Venus looks like a small black rounded marble nibbling around the big yellow ball shape, which is the sun.
Seeing this phenomenon by my own eyes is something I must say is a privilege
because not all people around the world has the opportunity to witness this
event. And I’m just one of those I say blessed to witness this phenomenon……and
witnessing this great astronomical event using a humongous telescope provided
by the staff of the Nido Fortified Science Center.
